• Grantee of the Congressman Domogan Educational Assistance Program (2005-2009).On Nov. 20, 2005 he won champion in an on the spot poetry writing among other scholars.

 

• On February 5, 2003, UP BAGUIO POETRY FESTIVAL honored one of his poems written in free verse.

 

• On Dec. 9, 2007 his feature story " Ang Kuwento ni Cerezo "  that tackles the different side of poverty and social conditions earned 2nd place in CHED's 8th Regional Higher Education Schools Press Conference.

 

• On February 14, 2009 , he became The Highest Individual Pointer writer in LUZON WIDE HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE for writing  the following pieces :
